Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for Trans-Canada Capital’s financial planning and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of priorities. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are also crucial skills.

This position will be based in downtown Montreal. 4 days per week at the office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage the annual budget process in collaboration with management and the various business units.
- Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly budget analysis reports, and bring all financial issues to management.
- Submit detailed monthly financial reports to the managers of the departments.
- Define and keep track of the key performance indicators (KPIs) and the goals.
- Manage the procurement process in collaboration with the business units, including supplier selection.
- Oversee and monitor the renewal of all existing contracts with the business units and, in some cases, negotiate them with suppliers.
- Develop, manage and improve processes to ensure efficient data analysis.
- Ensure a consistently high level of quality in service provided in terms of timeliness, accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Participate in special projects and perform other related tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and accounting designation (CPA).
- Five to eight years of relevant accounting experience.
- Excellent command of the Microsoft 365 suite (Excel).
- Experience with the Microsoft Power BI visualization tool (an asset).
- Knowledge of SAP and Ariba (an asset).
- Bilingual (spoken and written), French and English essential:
This position requires bilingualism at the professional level to provide support to clients and employees located outside of Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
