Role Description The Senior Hair Stylist role is a part-time, on-site position based in Canada at a Blo Blow Dry Bar location.

The Senior Hair

Stylist will deliver professional blow outs and styling services in line with the Blo Hair Menu, including smooth styles, curls, updos, and event-ready looks. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with guests to understand their preferences, performing high-quality wash and blow dry services, recommending suitable styles and retail products, and ensuring a welcoming, clean, and safe salon environment. The role also involves mentoring junior stylists, supporting training, contributing to service upgrades,



and assisting with in-salon promotions and guest retention initiatives.

Senior Hair

Stylists are expected to maintain high service standards, follow company protocols, and collaborate closely with the salon team to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

- Professional hairstyling expertise, including blow outs, finishing techniques, and styling for various hair types and textures.
- Strong client consultation and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior stylists, with a collaborative approach to team support and training.
- Knowledge of salon hygiene, health and safety standards, and adherence to professional licensing requirements in the applicable Canadian province.
- Ability to work flexible part time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the salon schedule.
- Comfort with promoting services and retail products, supporting in-salon marketing, and contributing to guest retention and loyalty efforts.
- Previous experience in a blow dry bar or fast-paced salon environment is an asset.
- Formal cosmetology or hairstyling education and a valid stylist license (where required) are strongly preferred.
