Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications. The successful candidate will support and maintain existing web applications while developing new web-based initiatives.

This position requires significant experience with GeoTalent development, .NET technologies, database development, Learning Management System modules, and enterprise-level web applications.

The role requires strong technical analysis, application development, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications.
- Write and/or generate code and compile data-driven programs.
- Maintain applications and conduct unit testing.
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems arising during the use and operation of software packages.
- Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
- Support and maintain existing web applications.
- Develop new web-based initiatives.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Apply structured methodologies to the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
- Elicit and document information from diverse business-area stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct design walkthrough sessions with the project team.
- Provide user and system documentation as required.

Oracle Software Development Skills

- Experience conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.
- Strong conversion experience with Accounts Receivable and Collections modules.
- Solid programming skills with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Inventory modules within Oracle E-Business.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structures related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV, and FND.
- Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and partitioned tables.
- Experience and understanding of data warehousing, ETL methodologies, and OBIEE.
- Java and Oracle Application Development Framework experience is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership capabilities to oversee technical quality assurance.

- 10+ years of experience working with GeoTalent, including experience within the GeoTalent development environment using TP Macro Language and the TP environment.
- Experience using GeoTalent to build front-end web and back-end administrative console features.
- 8+ years of .NET experience.
- Experience and knowledge of databases, including data modeling.
- Strong SQL programming skills, including the ability to write queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Level 3 with 10 years of experience supporting and maintaining existing web applications and developing new web-based initiatives.

- Experience developing data models.

- Experience managing databases using SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience developing database scripts, including backup scripts.

Web Development Skills

- Experience developing with HTML4 and HTML5.
- Experience with Bootstrap v4 and above.
- Experience implementing CSS and CSS3.
- JavaScript development experience, specifically jQuery.

Environment and Platform-Specific Technical Skills

- Windows operating systems.
- IIS 6.0, 7.0, and 7.5.
- SQL Server 2019 and above.
- Experience working within the Visual Studio 2022 and above environment.

Technical Competencies

- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and delivering Learning Management System modules using TP Macro Language and the TP environment.

- Experience using information retrieval packages with SQL.

- Experience with structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.

Enterprise Application Experience

- 10+ years of experience in programming and analysis.
- Experience developing enterprise-level .NET applications incorporating loosely coupled components and n-tier architecture.
- 10+ years of .NET experience.
- Experience with ASP.NET programming, .NET Framework, C# .NET, and Blazor.
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions using the GeoTalent development environment.

Knowledge Transfer

- Provide knowledge transfer for code and documentation assigned to the role.
- Conduct knowledge transfer through one-on-one meetings, team meetings, project documentation, and collaboration platforms throughout the project lifecycle.

Work Arrangement

- Hybrid work arrangement.
- 7.25 working hours per calendar day, Monday through Friday, generally between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding breaks.
- Working conditions may be subject to change based on operational requirements.
