Be a key player and contributor in working with management and colleagues to expand the Linx project construction offering and programs Underwriting of Builders Risk and Wrap Up liability policies Analyze new business and project extensions and provide terms based upon our underwriting guidelines Develop clear and concise underwriting proposals for accounts which may fall outside underwriting authority Main high level of service with your customer service focus and solutions-orientated approach Build a network of relationships with our brokers and our various markets Be involved in the training and development for more junior underwriters/underwriting assistants. As a Senior Construction Underwriter,



you will underwrite a variety of commercial insurance lines of business, which includes property and/or casualty, and some specialty lines. 5+ years of project construction underwriting experience ~5-10 years of commercial property and casualty experience in the contracting sector is an asset. ~ Cross Canada underwriting experience is an asset. ~ Ability to be creative to solve problems. ~ Understands the time sensitivity of the project construction market. ~ Experience mentoring or training more junior staff is an asset. ~ Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.
