This is an in-person role at our Shawnigan Lake head office. It is not remote or hybrid. There is no public transit to our location, so you will need:

- To live on Vancouver Island now, within a reasonable daily commute of Shawnigan Lake
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle
- Fluent written and spoken English, since you will write web content and communicate with international customers
- Legal authorization to work in Canada

The role

We are an established international company whose specialized solutions help grocery retailers and food suppliers around the world improve fresh food presentation, reduce waste, and support sustainability (www.promolux.com and www.econofrost.com).

We're looking for a tech-savvy, quick learner with some SEO training or experience. You will learn our business inside out and use online tools to bring in organic enquiries from potential customers. This is an entry-level position with real responsibility and room to grow. You'll be trained and mentored, and your work will directly drive company growth.

What you'll do

- Improve our websites' search rankings through keyword research, on-page SEO, and content optimization
- Write and update website content, blog posts, and product pages that attract and convert B2B buyers
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEO platforms, and AI tools to find opportunities and track results




- Support LinkedIn and email campaigns that generate enquiries
- Track leads and enquiries in our CRM and pass them to the sales team
- Research markets, competitors, and potential customers
- Work with our designers, web developers, and freelancers to get projects done on time

What we're looking for

- Some SEO experience or training: coursework, a certification (e.g. Google, HubSpot, Semrush), freelance work, or a site you've grown yourself all count
- Comfort picking up new software and online tools quickly
- Clear, qualified writing
- Good organization and the ability to juggle several projects
- Curiosity about how businesses find and win customers
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business, communications, technology, or a related field is an asset but not required

Nice to have

- Experience with WordPress or another content management system
- Google Analytics or Search Console experience
- CRM, LinkedIn, or email marketing experience
- Basic graphic design or video skills

Compensation The starting range is $45,000 – $55,000 for entry-level candidates. If you bring demonstrated SEO results, such as rankings or traffic you've grown, we're open to discussing higher compensation.
