Job Summary:

We are looking for a Site Executive to handle the installation, testing, inspection, maintenance and servicing of aerosol fire suppression systems and fire detection/safety equipment in railway coaches and other railway installations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper installation as per company/railway requirements and timely completion of assigned site work.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit railway sites/coaches for installation and maintenance activities.
- Install aerosol fire suppression systems and fire detection equipment as per approved drawings, specifications and instructions.
- Carry out testing, inspection and commissioning of installed systems.
- Identify and rectify installation-related issues and technical faults.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of installed fire safety systems.
- Ensure proper wiring, mounting, connections and positioning of equipment.
- Coordinate with railway officials, site supervisors and company seniors during installation and inspection.
- Maintain records of installation, testing, maintenance and completed work.




- Prepare daily site/work progress reports and share updates with the reporting manager.
- Ensure proper use and handling of tools, equipment and installation materials at site.
- Inform the office about required materials, spare parts and site requirements in advance.
- Follow railway safety procedures, site rules and company instructions.
- Travel to different railway locations/sites as required for project work.
- Required Skills
- Basic technical knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related technical field.

- Experience in installation, maintenance or servicing of fire safety systems will be preferred.
- Railway project/site experience will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read basic drawings/wiring diagrams.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to railway sites.
- Ability to work independently at project sites.

Pay: From $18,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Markham, ON
