We are looking for a new full-time pharmacist who can provide safe and effective medication therapy, support patients with their healthcare needs and work collaboratively with our pharmacy team to deliver the best patient-centred care that we highly value
Key responsibilities:
- Review and accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable legislation and professional standards.
- Provide medication counselling and answer patients' questions regarding medications, health conditions, and appropriate medication use.
- Assess prescriptions for appropriateness, including potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and therapeutic concerns.
- Communicate with physicians and other health-care professionals regarding medication-related issues and patient care.
- Assist patients with minor ailments and self-care recommendations within the pharmacist's scope of practice.
- Support prescription workflow, inventory management, and other day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with Manitoba pharmacy legislation, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy assistants and other team members to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
- Build strong relationships with patients and provide a high level of personalized customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited Canadian pharmacy program, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM).
- Good knowledge of Canadian pharmacy practice, medication safety, and applicable provincial legislation.
- Experience in community pharmacy is an asset.
- Proficiency in Kroll.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
