Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled TCP (Traffic Control Person) to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the protected and efficient movement of vehicles and equipment on construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, paving, and construction processes will help maintain safety standards and keep projects on track.

Duties

- Direct traffic flow around construction zones to safeguard workers, equipment, and the public
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, loaders, or other construction equipment as required
- Assist with paving operations by setting up and maintaining traffic control devices and barriers
- Conduct safety inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members, flaggers, and site supervisors to coordinate activities
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities,



equipment usage, and safety checks
- Support general construction tasks as needed to facilitate project progress

Experience

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within a construction environment
- Knowledge of paving techniques and procedures is highly desirable
- Strong background in construction work, including site safety practices and equipment handling
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety regulations at all times
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site management
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor conditions for extended periods
