Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained at all times
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing customer orders and payments while managing cash handling responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures throughout the shift




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimize wait times for customers
- Handle cashier duties efficiently, including cash handling, giving accurate change, and balancing registers at the end of shifts
- Support food industry best practices by practicing proper food handling techniques and ensuring all health and safety standards are met

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service roles with knowledge of kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in restaurant or food industry settings with a focus on serving customers efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportuni

Pay: Up to $17.60 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
