Job Title: Technical Content Writer (hardware) Job ID: 90554 Location: Saanichton, British Columbia What you will be doing: Gather and interpret technical information from multiple sources Create explanatory 2D graphics using specific design software Produce and edit installation guides and user manuals for new and existing products Maintain and update a body of existing product documentation Create and maintain HTML files for help systems and on-line documentation Coordinate and collaborate with product teams to deliver content that aligns with business needs and timing What you must have: Demonstrated technical and promotional writing/illustration experience Ability to effectively target different audiences and clearly describe complex hardware and software products Proficient in the use of desktop publishing illustration software on the Windows platform Excellent interpersonal skills: team player, able to deal effectively with people, self motivated A strong technical aptitude Lifelong learner: not afraid to investigate recent topics with minimal guidance Salary/Rate: $75.00/hour
