Our client is a well-established, partner-led CPA firm in North York that is entering an important stage of growth. They are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager who wants to become part of the leadership team — not simply manage files.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of privately held and owner-managed clients

- Lead audit, review and compilation engagements from planning through completion

- Review financial statements and working papers under ASPE





- Prepare and review corporate, personal, trust and partnership tax returns

- Advise clients on accounting, tax and more complex technical matters

- Work directly with partners on planning, advisory work and special projects

- Review, mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff

- Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services

- Contribute ideas around processes, technology and how the firm continues to grow

- Play an active role in building the firm's future leadership bench

What We’re Looking For

- CPA designation

- 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience

- Strong hands-on experience with audit, review, compilation and Canadian tax

- Solid ASPE knowledge

- Ability to manage engagements independently from start to finish

- Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff

- Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills

- Someone comfortable taking ownership and operating with autonomy

- An interest in longer-term leadership and potentially partnership
