About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its long-term care home with a focus on person-centered care and a commitment to making every moment matter. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership of the home's daily operations, resident experience, and strategic direction.
This role requires a compassionate and relationship-focused individual who can foster a culture of empathy, integrity, and accountability. The Executive Director will serve as the home's spokesperson, ensuring that residents, families, and team members feel known, valued, supported, and safe.

They will also champion a relationship-focused approach to care, moving beyond task-based interactions to encourage meaningful connections.





Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's long-term care home should have a post-secondary degree or diploma in health or social services, with additional qualifications in long-term care administration management. A minimum of 3 years' of management experience in the long-term care sector is essential, along with knowledge of basic accounting, electronic health records, and relevant legislation.
The role also requires a solid understanding of privacy practices and experience in managing complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operational and financial leadership, be adept at supporting and empowering their team, and ensure that the home's policies and practices meet all necessary requirements.

French language skills are considered an asset.
