About the job Provide interpreting services for Deaf students and staff in various settings. Provide interpreting services for administrative and professional staff in sensitive and demanding situations. Provide interpreting services for training sessions and workshops. What you bring to the team Mandatory requirements Degree or Diploma in ASL-English Interpreting Fluency in American Sign Language and English Knowledge and Skills: Your background and experience enables you to meet the following requirements: Ability to interpret in a wide range of formal, informal, educational and qualified settings.



Knowledge and understanding of the Professional Code of Ethics of the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters (CASLI). Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience interpreting in both small and large group settings.
