What will your typical day look like? Manage compensation programs and processes for an assigned portfolio, including mid-year and year-end salary reviews and variable pay programs. Provide strategic Total Rewards advice and practical subject matter expertise to business, Talent, Finance, and senior leadership stakeholders. Partner with business leaders on compensation planning, program design, governance, and administration aligned with the firm’s strategy and compensation philosophy. Conduct market analysis and financial modelling, translate complex findings into clear recommendations, and build executive-ready presentations and decision materials. Lead stakeholder engagement across complex, cross-functional initiatives, anticipating concerns, building alignment,
and driving decisions through implementation. Support M&A transactions through compensation-related due diligence, risk assessment, cost modelling, offer development, and Total Rewards recommendations. Lead compensation workstreams during post-deal integration, including pay-program harmonization, policy alignment, employee transition planning, and governance. Identify and implement responsible AI opportunities across Total Rewards, including automation of recurring processes, generation of workforce and compensation insights, development of planning tools, and creation of scalable employee and leader support solutions. Translate business needs into AI use cases and requirements; partner with Technology, Privacy, Risk, Legal, and other teams to pilot, validate, deploy, and monitor solutions with appropriate human oversight. Establish quality controls for AI-enabled outputs, including data validation, bias and privacy considerations, documentation, user testing, adoption, and ongoing performance measurement. Review compensation tools, policies, and processes to improve efficiency, usability, compliance, and scalability. Identify and drive broader technology automation opportunities, such as automating the creation and maintenance of compensation worksheets, in partnership with stakeholders, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team where appropriate. Research Total Rewards trends and regulatory developments to inform pay design and administration guidelines. Lead special Total Rewards initiatives, executive requests, and firmwide projects as business needs evolve. Develop team capability through day-to-day guidance, coaching, technical training, and knowledge sharing.
About the team You are someone with: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant designation, such as CCP, is preferred. Seven or more years of progressive Total Rewards experience, including both external consulting experience in Total Rewards and hands-on experience within an internal Total Rewards function. Deep compensation expertise across program design, market analysis, pay equity, administration, financial modelling, and M&A due diligence or integration. Demonstrated ability to develop compelling executive presentations, translate analysis into concise recommendations, and manage senior stakeholders across complex or sensitive initiatives. Previous experience using or implementing AI, analytics, automation, or digital tools in Total Rewards or HR, with the ability to identify valuable use cases, define requirements, partner on implementation, and support responsible adoption and change management. Enough about us, let’s talk about you Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
