At Boyd Autobody & Glass, we have been providing quality workmanship on every collision repair for over 30 years. If you’re looking for a new opportunity, we provide career growth, an excellent benefits plan, RRSP matching, and competitive compensation.The Manager In Training’s primary responsibility includes providing an exceptional customer experience while shadowing/assisting the General Manager’s day-to-day operation of the store. The Manager In Training will learn the operations of the shop and gain experience for growth into a General Manager role. The Manager In Training works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) planPrepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision centerForecast,
target and track monthly sales, profit and expensesOversee hiring, training, corrective action and terminationMonitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all timesMonitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint boothProvide training for all staff as necessaryEnsure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress codeOpen and close the facility daily as per established proceduresConduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to oversee work in progress and delivery datesManage all estimates and store capacityShadow the General Manager and assist in overseeing all repair facility personnel.Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings.Attend monthly managers meetings.Maintain the The Boyd Group KPI’s (Sales/ GP/ EBITA /BHPD/ NPS/ WOW Scores)Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the JobPost-Secondary Education or equivalent.Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar roleRequired Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesCommunicate clearly both verbally and in writingAbility to multitask and function well in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyAbility to multitask and effectively manage a fast paced environmentAbility to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.Other RequirementsTravel, physical requirements, etc. Valid driver’s license requiredPlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities,
