Accountability About the role The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patientsand families. Reporting to the Manager – Cardiology & General Medicine, the Ward Clerk will be responsible for providing a full range of clerical support services for the 2C – MedicalUnit. Qualifications * Client‑focused communication skills; good interpersonal,organizational, and telephone skills * Demonstrated good time management skills * Ability to "multi‑task" to ensure an effectiveclerical work flow process on a busy patient care unit. * Demonstrated ability to assist with unit budget process byutilizing effective supply purchase and inventory control * Initiative with the ability to work with a minimum ofsupervision * Working knowledge of medical terminology, processing medicalorders, payroll, admission and discharge, and
