POSITION TITLE: Housing ManagerDEPARTMENT: HousingCLASSIFICATION: MGO-08SALARY RANGE: Starting at $90,203 per annumPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, PermanentLOCATION: SaskatoonACCOUNTABLE TO: Director of Housing and HomelessnessBrief OverviewThe Housing Manager provides leadership and oversight for the development, delivery, and administration of housing programs, projects, and services that support Métis citizens across Saskatchewan. The position is responsible for supervising staff, operational planning, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively and efficiently, aligned with organizational priorities and funding requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to housing department staff.Conduct recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development planning.Lead the Métis housing program operations team, including but not limited to:Home Efficiency InitiativeEmergency Repairs ProgramFirst Time Homebuyer's ProgramDisability Adaptation ProgramRent-to-Own ProgramFuture programming to support Métis citizens.Monitor program outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies.Develop and manage program and project budgets and financial forecasts.Contribute to securing consistent and stable funding.Build and maintain robust working relationships with various partners and stakeholders; including but not limited to: Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments and agencies,



IndigenousSupport the development and implementation of housing strategies and long-term housing plans.Contribute to the creation and continued improvement of data collection processes.Develop policy and procedures for housing programs and operational practices.Other duties as assigned by the Director of Housing & HomelessnessQualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in management and program delivery.Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizationsCommitment to reconciliation and advancing the rights and well-being of Métis citizens.Familiarity with federal and provincial housing programs, funding streams, and Indigenous-focused initiatives.Knowledge And SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong time-management skills, the ability to prioritize daily tasks, organizational skills, and effective decision-making abilities.Ability to work as a team and independently.Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Proven management and administrative experience.Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Relationship management practices.Embrace challenges and areas of rapid growth.Resiliency in dealing with changing schedules, timelines and financial priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to travel within Saskatchewan and work flexible hours as needed.Additional RequirementsA valid Saskatchewan driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to our downtown location would be required.The successful candidate must undergo a Criminal Record Check.The Travel requirement for this position is 20%Please submit your application by 11:59 PM on October 7, 2026.
