Lead technical accounting functions as an Accounting Manager at Emburse. This role focuses on complex payroll, audit management, and compliance, all within a thriving work from home environment. Emburse seeks an experienced Accounting Manager with a CPA certification to oversee key accounting operations.

You will directly manage an Accountant II, ensuring the accuracy of financial closes and regulatory compliance. This includes responsibilities in payroll accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and external audit management. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage payroll accruals and domestic/international reconciliations
- Lead sales tax compliance efforts with external partners
- Oversee stock-based compensation accounting and reconciliations
- Coordinate external audits and prepare all documentation
- Mentor and review work for the Accountant II Requirements:
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606, and audit workflows
