This is a temporary position with an end date of March 31, 2027. Join us at the First Nations Financial Management Board (FMB), where we support First Nations to strengthen their governance and financial practices. Since our establishment in 2006 under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act, we have been dedicated to providing fully optional tools and services tailored to meet the unique needs of First Nations communities.

Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with travel arrangements when needed. Respond to phone calls, emails, mail, and general inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Coordinate meetings, workshops, events, and special projects, including room bookings and catering arrangements.
Order office supplies, monitor inventory levels,
and support vendor and contractor coordination. Help maintain office spaces, equipment, security access, and workplace safety requirements. Provide guidance on administrative processes and help staff access the resources they need.
Contribute to a positive, respectful workplace and assist with other administrative duties as assigned. Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of (3) years of experience in an administrative support role is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
Experience working with vendors, contractors, or external service providers is an asset.
Experience working with First Nations governments, Indigenous organizations, or Indigenous communities is an asset. Fluent in English, with solid written and verbal communication skills; French language skills are an asset. Committed to learning about and supporting Indigenous cultures, histories, and communities.
