The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking an Aircraft Coordinator to join our Method Support team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
You will be part of the method support team, whose main role is to bridge the gap between engineering and production to guarantee the efficiency, reliability, and compliance of assembly operations.
The team is organized to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, with mutual support and collective learning.
Your role as a coordinator will be to coordinate the preparation, tracking, and communication of technical plans, resolve blockers, and ensure adherence to the schedule, while providing technical support to the teams and facilitating collaboration with various stakeholders.

Your challenges
- Coordinate the preparation, tracking, and communication of the plan allowing to close the technical points of each aircraft in agreement with the short-term planning requirements;
- Prioritize and harmonize the access of the different stakeholders to ensure plan adherence;
- Follow up and help resolve the blockers of each aircraft (RNC, BOI, issues, etc.) by exchanging with the various Operations and Operations Support teams;
- Escalate blocking points if necessary, to the right people and at the right moment;
- Identify blockers in the processes,
and lead improvement projects to solve them;
- Participate in E2EQG routines, in particular prepare and lead FOT meetings, and contribute to E2EQG monthly analyses and action follow-up;
- Coordinate supplier catch-up plans when they are transversal to the final assembly line;
- Coordinate VL/DL plans when they are transversal to the final assembly line;
- Ensure the first level of support to on-site suppliers.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Project Management, or a technical degree in aeronautics with equivalent professional experience;
- You have more than 10 years of experience in manufacturing processes, ideally on the A220;
- You have a general knowledge of dependencies between different positions;
- You have a detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality, and production processes;
- You have strong leadership, are able to question processes, but also have a willingness to grow your colleagues and other functions;
- You are proficient in French (mandatory) and are comfortable in English (an asset).
Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
