Job Summary Reporting directly to the EH&S Manager, this role will include working with the various personnel levels within the assigned facility, to help ensure our employees are working safely. By completing screenings, assessments and taking part in training employees, you will directly impact the safety of our workforce. Responsibility Conducting ergo/safety reviews of jobs and making Job Specific Training videos Linamar Ergonomic Screening Tool Determine risk of tasks using Ergonomic Analysis Report and assessment tools Suitability Assessments Office Assessments – workstation set up Physical Demand Descriptions (PDD) for new lines/update current PDD’s Assist with additional projects as required Must have access to a vehicle Academic/Educational Requirements Currently enrolled in a Kinesiology or Ergonomics degree/diploma program. Required Skills/Experience Enrolled in a Kinesiology or Ergonomics program Good report writing skills Strong problem-solving skills and presentation skills Able to troubleshoot and multi-task Strong communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Flexible and adaptable Self-motivated with initiative What Linamar Has to Offer Competitive Compensation Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc. Opportunities for career advancement.
