Contribute to groundbreaking research as an Auxiliary Multispecies Archaeology Research Technician at UBC. This part-time role focuses on research tasks, experiment coordination, and data acquisition, supporting the creative Multispecies Archaeology Laboratory. Working under Dr. Aleksa Alaica, you will assist with various research studies and play a vital role in maintaining supplies and running experiments. Communication with fellow researchers and scheduling appointments will be key. The position requires meticulous adherence to lab protocols and protocols respecting diverse perspectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and prepare materials for experiments
- Schedule appointments with researchers and volunteers
- Record test data following SOPs
- Uphold integrity in research results and participant treatment
- Ensure compliance with safety and procedural guidelines Requirements:
- High school graduation and one year related experience
