We are looking for an Intermediate Buyer Planner within our Satellite Systems team at our Montreal office.

Responsible for material requirements planning, negotiation, and purchasing of simple materials and services, considering cost, quality, and delivery within defined limits and in accordance with identified decision-making levels. Able to purchase items included in overhead, building services, capital expenditures, and standard items and components available on the commercial, military,



and space market. Receives specific assignments with periodic supervision.

Perform follow-up activities for purchase orders and shipment tracking information to ensure timely deliveries. Proactively report material availability issues. Resolve receiving and billing anomalies.

Support sales and engineering requests regarding material costs and availability. Monitor and maintain master item supply chain data for items in assigned commodities. Contribute to process improvements and lean initiatives related to items in assigned commodities.

Review monthly supplier performance and define corrective action plans where applicable. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field. ~ Registration with SCMA or an in-progress or completed certification will be considered an asset. ~Some understanding of export control regulations. ~ Experience in electronic component procurement. ~ Basic analysis and negotiation techniques. ~ Customer orientation (internal and external). ~ Fluency in French and English (oral and written). Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level and successfully pass the security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
