À propos du poste

Joignez-vous à l’équipe du laboratoire de notre pharmacie communautaire à Embrun. Sous la supervision du pharmacien, vous participerez au traitement des ordonnances, de la réception jusqu’à la remise au patient, veillerez à l’approvisionnement et à l’organisation du laboratoire, et offrirez aux patients un service courtois et fiable.

Vos responsabilités

- Accueillir les patients et recevoir les ordonnances et les demandes de renouvellement, en personne et par téléphone
- Saisir avec exactitude les ordonnances et les renseignements des patients dans le système de la pharmacie
- Préparer, compter, emballer et étiqueter les médicaments en vue de la vérification par le pharmacien
- Traiter les réclamations d’assurance et résoudre les problèmes de facturation
- Commander, recevoir et ranger les médicaments et les fournitures; contribuer au maintien de l’inventaire
- Aider les clients dans la section des médicaments en vente libre et diriger les questions cliniques vers le pharmacien
- Maintenir le laboratoire propre, ordonné et conforme aux normes de la pharmacie

Profil recherché

- Minimum 1 an d’expérience en pharmacie (exigé)
- Bilinguisme français et anglais (exigé)
- Excellent service à la clientèle et grand souci du détail
- Aisance avec l’informatique et capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique
- Fiabilité, esprit d’équipe et respect de la confidentialité des patients

Pharmacy Assistant – Full-Time | Jean Coutu, Embrun, ON

About the role

Join the dispensary team at our community pharmacy in Embrun. Working under the supervision of the pharmacist, you’ll help process prescriptions from intake to pickup, keep the dispensary stocked and organized, and give patients friendly, reliable service.

What you’ll do

- Greet patients and receive prescriptions and refill requests in person and by phone
- Enter prescriptions and patient information accurately in the pharmacy system
- Prepare, count, package and label medications for the pharmacist’s verification
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Order, receive and put away medications and supplies; help maintain inventory
- Assist customers in the over-the-counter section and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist
- Keep the dispensary clean, organized and compliant with pharmacy standards

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience (required)
- Bilingual in French and English (required)
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers and working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable team player who respects patient confidentiality
