Drive workplace safety as an Ergonomics Intern with Linamar Corporation. Engage in screenings, assessments, and employee training to enhance safety across the facility.
This position reports to the EH&S; Manager and requires enrollment in a Kinesiology or Ergonomics program. You will conduct job-specific ergonomic reviews and develop training videos to mitigate risk. Your role will involve using assessment tools for various workstation setups and suitability assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ergonomic safety reviews of job functions
• Create Job Specific Training videos for employees
• Use the Linamar Ergonomic Screening Tool effectively
• Perform Physical Demand Descriptions for current and new lines
• Assist with various projects as needed
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a Kinesiology or Ergonomics program
• Strong report writing and problem-solving skills
• Valuable presentation skills and ability to multi-task
• Effective communication skills in a workplace environment
• Must have access to a vehicle
