4th Class Power Engineer - Maintenance and OperationsReq ID: 217115Location: Eastern Zone, St. Martha's Regional HospitalDepartment: FMS Plant Operations SMRHType of Employment: Casual (Casual Relief (3%) x 4)UNIFOR Support PositionPosting Closing Date: 11-Jun-26About the OpportunityReporting to the Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Manager, the 4th Class Engineer troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs facility infrastructure equipment and carries out maintenance and repair work as directed by the Chief or their designate. This position is responsible for all building operations and maintenance aspects of the facility infrastructure, and the operation and monitoring of the boiler and all associated systems and equipment following the Nova Scotia Boiler & Pressure Equipment Regulations. This position may be required to complete general maintenance tasks as required throughout the facility. In special circumstances where approved. This position may be required to temporarily perform duties of a position with a higher-class Power engineer license to ensure coverage. Travel within the zone or other zones as needed. Other duties as required.About YouKnowledge of NS Power Engineering Regulations, Pressure Vessel Act and related CSA and ASME codesMust be able to work independentlyIn depth knowledge of building mechanical systems,
