Back End Developer Acro Commerce is looking for a Back End Developer to build, integrate, and maintain high-quality commerce solutions for our clients. Someone who codes like it's their native tongue, but can still talk comfortably with our crew and the odd client. You've shipped real things, you've debugged other people's messes, and you'd rather pick up a new stack than say "that's not my language." You care about writing code that the next developer won't curse you for.

You can tell when you're stuck, and you ask for help before the deadline, not after. As a Back End Developer, you'll build and maintain the systems that help manufacturers, distributors, and brands sell online. Our client work spans a range of platforms and languages, and our developers flex between them.

NET work, so if you've got .NET experience, we especially want to hear from you. Write high-quality, maintainable code that follows Acro Commerce standards and our production process Build new features, integrations, and full builds, as well as updates and revisions to existing sites Juggle multiple smaller tasks or larger builds with shifting priorities, and still hit your deadlines Find and fix problems in code that might not be yours, where your only hint is a cryptic complaint from a client Communicate clearly with Project Managers, Tech Leads, and clients about work requests, problems, and defects Act as a peer and mentor to other developers,



while being comfortable asking for help yourself Pick up current languages and platforms as client work demands it Solid hands-on back-end development experience, with work samples you can share NET / C# is a strong asset Experience with some of what we work with day-to-day: PHP, Drupal, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, React, NextJS, Shopify, WordPress, AWS, Docker, Lando, Kubernetes, Acumatica Know other languages? Comfort in a Linux shell for day-to-day tasks, plus some understanding of Linux hosting (bonus points if you've set up your own server, even if nobody else cared) Fluency in English Expect the occasional virtual happy hour, team competition, or reward for no particular reason.
