The Buyer is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for executing procurement activities for materials and equipment in support of complex projects from pre-award through closeout.

Execute purchasing activities for engineered equipment and bulk materials in accordance with project requirements and material management plans Conduct commercial bid evaluations evaluating pricing, terms, delivery, compliance and risk Issue purchase orders and manage them through the full lifecycle, including change orders, price adjustments and supplier exceptions Negotiated and resolution final resolution to any claim related items regarding material Provide guidance and informal support to junior supply chain team members as required Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, Logistics, and other project stakeholders Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities,



and meet deadlines Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines Adhere to and support Client's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies May need to travel to attend to business related matters Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write and speak) Experience should be primarily in the area of material management Excellent computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs All qualified individuals will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, or any other criteria protected by governing law. #
