Healthcare Security Officers (Casual) Happy Valley - Goose Bay (LHC)(Paladin Security Group) Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada As a Healthcare Security Officer at the Labrador Health Centre, you play a vital role in maintaining a safe and calm environment for patients, medical staff, and visitors. You are the first line of support in a agile 25-bed hospital, providing peace of mind to those receiving and providing care. This position is ideal for individuals who are calm under pressure, have a strong sense of service, and are looking to build a career in professional security within a healthcare setting.

Position :Casual Security Guard Overtime :Posting Date :September 30 2026 Conduct regular patrols of the hospital grounds, including parking areas, hallways, and restricted units. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or security breaches. Act as a calm, professional presence during emergency situations, including medical crises or site evacuations.

Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients and visitors and helping them navigate the hospital. Use de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and address policy violations with patience and firm, professional communication. Coordinate with hospital staff and local law enforcement to maintain a safe, secure facility.
