Our client, a leader in the construction and manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Structural Steel Welder to join their team. As a Structural Steel Welder, you will be an essential part of the fabrication and assembly process, supporting the production of high-quality steel structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range: Based on Experience and Qualifications

Shift: Monday to Friday day time hours

What's the Job?

- Perform welding of structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Operate fluxcore welding equipment efficiently and safely
- Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure structural integrity
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality goals

What's Needed?

- Certification as a Fluxcore Certified Welder
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and standards
- Prior experience in structural steel welding is preferred but not mandatory
