Alteo is lookking for an IT Project Manager for a permanent position based in Montreal.

*** Reporting to the Head of the IT Project Office, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of medium- and large-scale projects in a matrix environment, in collaboration with various IT teams, internal partners, and vendor teams.

Project

Analysis and Planning Analyze and document business requirements, costs, and project feasibility. Define an appropriate project management strategy and governance framework. Draft the project charter and plan, specifying timelines, costs, challenges, and objectives.

Project

Management and Monitoring Plan, organize, and rigorously monitor project activities. Mobilize and coordinate project team members (project lead, technicians, vendors, etc.). Identify and manage issues, risks, and change requests.

Organize and facilitate project meetings and committees. Draft meeting minutes and ensure the documentation of processes and architecture. Oversee the updating of documentation and procedures related to information systems.

Implementation and Commissioning Ensure the implementation of communication and change management strategies. Plan and oversee deployments and technical testing.



Conduct post-implementation follow-up and provide user training as needed.

Project

Closure and Evaluation Obtain final client approval for project closure. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management framework. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent ~5+ years of experience as an IT project manager responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, with direct responsibility for objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables; ~3+ years of significant experience in organizational change management; ~ Significant experience in analyzing business needs and information systems; ~ Experience in directly coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple stakeholders; ~ Experience in project management within the healthcare system (a plus); ~ Project Management Skilled (PMP) certification or equivalent ~ Knowledge of project management approaches and tools (Microsoft Project, Planner, or equivalent). ~ Planning and organizational skills: managing multiple projects simultaneously, allocating resources, and meeting deadlines. ~
