We are seeking a skilled Mass Spectrometry Specialist to join our cutting-edge team. This hands‑on role requires knowledge of LC‑MS techniques and operations to support our cutting‑edge research and development initiatives. Our clients routinely use our services in therapeutic discovery, IVD development, basic research, controls and assay development. Our scope of services includes a full suite of R&D; programs including antibody discovery, epitope mapping, kinetic analysis, and glycan profiling. Operate, monitor, and maintain LC‑MS systems to ensure optimal performance.

Scheduling samples from various teams across multiple MS instruments according to the scheduling policy. Perform normal lab organization and cleaning duties for the mass spectrometry labs. Other duties as required for the operation of the MS laboratories.

Quality

Control & Data Management Prepare and load Quality Control samples and assess system performance. Review quality control data to evaluate run performance and identify instrument issues. Maintain detailed laboratory records and documentation.





Analyze and interpret complex mass spectrometry data to monitor the performance of LC‑MS systems. Draft and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for MS workflows. Maintain good instrument use, maintenance logs and quality assurance documentation.

Work with the team to measure opportunities and pipeline generated by marketing activities Master’s degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, or BSc with at least 3 years' post‑degree experience working with LC‑MS. Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Thermo‑Fisher MS instruments is a huge asset. Proficiency with both Nano and high flow rate LC‑MS systems from different vendors (Thermo, Evosep, or Waters) is an asset Ability to work as a team and to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
