At Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system by growing food where people live and growing it more sustainably. To do this, we built the world’s first commercial rooftop greenhouse and partner with hundreds of local farms and food makers to offer fresh, local, responsible food to our customers. With our company in constant expansion, we’re looking for someone who’s thrilled by the idea of improving the current food system to become our Bookkeeping Clerk.

The Bookkeeping

Clerk assists our Accounting and Administration departments with invoicing and preparing financial statements, amongst other bookkeeping tasks. Verify and file source documents, such as invoices, receipts, etc.

- Account for financial transactions in the company's books
- Reconcile accounts
- Collect and analyze data
- Track and maintain inventory records
- Maintain internal control systems
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in the year-end audit process
- DEC or certificate in accounting;

Experience in accounting practices





- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting standards
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel
- Reliable, detail-oriented, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent English and French language skills.

Assets

Experience using Oracle NetSuite;

Experience with Excel or Google Suite. 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
