About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Clinical Research Coordinator to join their team in Kimberley . This hybrid role plays a vital part in the successful execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for managing patient recruitment, data collection, and participant follow-up, working closely with investigators, study sponsors, and regulatory bodies. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to advancing medical research through ethical and efficient trial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants for clinical trials according to protocol requirements.
- Collect, manage, and maintain accurate and complete study data, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Schedule and coordinate study visits, including assessments, procedures, and sample collection.
- Educate participants about study procedures, risks, and advantages, ensuring informed consent is obtained and maintained.
- Monitor participants for adverse events and report them promptly according to regulatory guidelines.
- Liaise with investigators, study sponsors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth trial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or similar role.
- Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ICH).
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid setting.
