Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Clinical Social Worker focused on client-centered care. Provide psychosocial assessments and counselling to individuals with complex health challenges in Vancouver. In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team serving adult clients.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and at least two years of relevant experience, you’ll conduct assessments and apply trauma-informed practices. Your expertise in Indigenous Cultural Safety and various health disciplines will support diverse populations in overcoming barriers to care. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and evaluations
- Provide individual and group counselling services
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Facilitate access to community resources for clients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers
- Two years’ experience with marginalized clients
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and strengths-based care
- Valid BC Driver’s License for work purposes
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams
