Join FMC Psychiatric Adult Service as a Mental Health Clinician, delivering effective therapy to clients facing mood and anxiety disorders. Engage in individual, family, and group therapy in a supportive workplace.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform psychosocial interventions and provide evidence-based care in crisis intervention and assessment. Your role includes responsible intake, clinical interviews, and liaising with stakeholders. Collaborate on program planning while having chances to supervise practicum students, enhancing your professional growth alongside client support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screening of clients
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions




• Collaborate with team members on patient care
• Liaise with external stakeholders effectively
• Participate in program planning and student supervision
Requirements:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
• Minimum of 3 years in direct therapy roles
• Experience with DBT and CBT
• Proficiency in group facilitation
• Registration eligibility with Alberta regulatory college
