The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the progress of production activities to guarantee team efficiency.Main responsibilities:
- Conduct daily monitoring of operations for their shift to ensure teams meet performance targets regarding production plans, quality, HSE, etc.
- Coordinate the work of production teams on the ground
- Ensure compliance with productivity and efficiency objectives
- Monitor indicators (on-time delivery, scrap rates, machine downtime…)
- If necessary, prioritize follow-up on production progress
- Ensure the transition between the previous and following shifts and, if needed, reassign employees
- Identify and anticipate problematic situations or areas for improvement and coordinate resources to ensure effective production
- Guide, support, and supervise manufacturing employees (compliance with rules, communication, annual evaluations, approval of hours to be paid, etc.)
- Manage schedule changes, overtime, absences, etc.
- Support and participate in quality, continuous improvement, Health, Safety, and Environment efforts (IGP, 5S, risk analyses)
- Promote the development of manufacturing employees' skills, including newcomers
- Lead and participate in daily production follow-up team meetings (QRQC, …)Let's talk about youRequirements:
- DEC or DEP in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of team management experience in aerospace or in a high-tech manufacturing environmentTechnical skills:
