The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform cleaning tasks at our facilities. This role requires adherence to cleaning standards, physical mobility, and the ability to lift over 20 pounds. As an ambassador for the YMCA, you will play a crucial role in enhancing member experiences through cleanliness and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow YMCA cleaning policies and procedures
• Serve as a YMCA ambassador demonstrating core values
• Conduct assigned cleaning tasks in various spaces
• Identify optimal methods and products for cleaning
• Manage physical demands related to cleaning duties
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• WHMIS certification required
• Current Criminal Record Check is mandatory
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
