Become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist I at Health Link's Rehabilitation Advice Line in Calgary, Alberta. This role requires expertise in evidence-informed strategies and effective communication to guide callers.
The Occupational Therapist I will provide rehabilitation advice and support across wide-ranging concerns. You will triage calls and assess client needs while applying critical thinking and comprehensive Occupational Therapy skills. Collaboration with families and stakeholders is essential to ensure optimal care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform tele-triage for patient rehabilitation inquiries
• Assess caller needs with critical thinking techniques
• Encourage active participation of clients and families




• Collaborate with interprofessional teams for quality improvement
• Provide comprehensive assessments, treatment, and education
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Minimum five years' experience as an OT
• Three years’ experience in pediatric settings preferred
• Excellent communication and computer skills required
