As a Lifeguard at Americana Conference Resort & Spa, your primary responsibility will be educating the public on safe pool use and enforcing health regulations. You will monitor the pool area for potential hazards and swimmers in need of assistance, ensuring a secure environment. Knowledge of facility programming and effective communication with patrons are also key components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce pool rules and health regulations for safety
• Monitor swimmers and ensure proper supervision
• Assist patrons with inquiries regarding facility services
• Conduct daily checks of lifesaving equipment
• Provide emergency care until medical services arrive
Requirements:
• Current National Lifesaving Society Certification
• Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification
• Some High School education
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Adaptable schedule availability
