About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Manager specializing in Employee Relations for their East London operations. You will lead the development and execution of employee relations strategies, ensuring a fair, respectful, and productive work environment. This leadership role involves managing complex cases, advising management, developing policies, and fostering positive labor relations. Your expertise will be crucial in mitigating risks, enhancing employee engagement, and upholding the company's values and legal obligations. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies and policies. Lead investigations into employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and policy violations. Provide expert guidance and support to management on complex employee relations issues. Advise on labor law compliance and best practices to minimize legal risks. Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations and conflict resolution. Foster a positive organizational culture and promote constructive dialogue between employees and management. Requirements





Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR, with a significant focus on employee relations management. Deep understanding of South African labor law, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution processes. Proven experience in managing sensitive employee relations cases and conducting complex investigations. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to influence senior stakeholders. Benefits
