Become a pivotal force in Alberta’s healthcare by joining as a Policy Advisor in Calgary or Edmonton. This full time role focuses on improving the quality of care within continuing care homes. As a strategic contributor in the Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services, your expertise will help shape policy solutions that enhance resident outcomes and support quality initiatives.

You will report directly to the Manager of Policy, Standards and Quality, working collaboratively to evaluate and implement evidence-based practices across the province. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and evaluation of policies for continuing care
- Conduct research and data analysis to inform policy decisions
- Monitor system performance and quality indicators




- Prepare reports and strategic advice for senior leadership
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders in healthcare

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in health administration or social science
- 2 years of related policy experience
- Strong knowledge of facility-based continuing care in Alberta
- Proven ability to analyze information and communicate effectively
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies
