AgeCare is seeking a Cook for its Long-Term Care residence. This key role involves directing Food Services Workers, ensuring proper meal delivery, and maintaining cleanliness. Collaborate with the team to address dietary needs and residents’ concerns effectively. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Maintain a protected and sanitary kitchen environment
- Direct Food Services Workers during shifts
- Address resident and family concerns in a timely manner
- Check special diet orders for new admissions

Requirements:

- Experience as a Cook, preferably in a supervisory role
- Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Minimum public school education; high school preferred
- Diploma/certificate in food preparation or equivalent
