Shifts: Days Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Perform Fluxcore (FCAW) and Metalcore (GMAW) welding
- Weld various thicknesses of steel in multiple positions
- Set up and operate welding fixtures and equipment
- Prepare welding joints according to drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings and welding symbols
- Perform gauging/back-gauging using air carbon arc
- Use hand, power, hydraulic and pneumatic tools
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of Fluxcore and Metalcore experience
- Experience with FCAW and GMAW
- Experience welding in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions
- Ability to weld various thicknesses of steel
- Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and symbols
- Must have or be able to successfully pass a CWB weld test
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
