We are seeking a passionate and skilled Curry Chef/Tandoor Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian-style curries and expertly operating traditional tandoor ovens to create flavorful, high-quality dishes that delight our guests. Duties

- Prepare a variety of traditional curries, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation standards are met consistently.
- Operate and maintain tandoor ovens safely and efficiently to produce perfectly cooked breads, meats, and vegetables.
- Oversee food preparation processes, including marinating, seasoning, and cooking ingredients according to established recipes.
- Supervise kitchen staff involved in curry and tandoor dish production, providing guidance on techniques and safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of food handling, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure timely service and excellent food quality during busy hours.




- Assist in managing inventory levels of spices, ingredients, and cooking supplies to prevent shortages and reduce waste.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working as a chef specializing in Indian cuisine, particularly with curries and tandoor cooking.
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent skills in cooking, food handling, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Previous restaurant management or leadership experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for hospitality with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
