• Measurement team, responsible for designing, building, and delivering customer-facing analytics that pharma leaders rely on to run their commercial operations. This is a senior technical and customer-facing role, sitting at the intersection of dashboard build, data modelling, and strategic advisory. You will be the analytical voice in the room with pharma customers, guiding them on which metrics matter for their business and translating business context into meaningful analytical outputs. Designing, building, and delivering customer-facing analytics dashboards end-to-end, including: requirements gathering with customer stakeholders; data modeling and semantic definition of business concepts dashboard design and build in Tableau delivery, presentation, and ongoing iteration with customers Writing clean, performant SQL against our data platform. Leading customer conversations to understand business context, and guiding customers on the right metrics and visualizations for their business needs. Translating customer business language into data requirements, and analytical work back into business narratives that leadership can act on. Presenting analytical work to senior customer stakeholders - VPs of Commercial, Heads of Analytics, and Executive Sponsors - with clarity and specificity. Serving as a trusted analytical advisor to your customer accounts, spotting opportunities they haven't seen and recommending approaches that shape their commercial strategy.
Partnering with our data platform team to shape how our analytical capabilities evolve, including the transition from Tableau-based delivery to native ACTO analytics tooling with built-in AI capabilities. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success to continuously improve the value we provide. 7-8 years of experience building analytics and dashboards in a professional setting. ~ Deep SQL expertise — analytical queries, query performance, dimensional modeling. ~ Extensive hands-on experience with Tableau (Power BI or Looker acceptable if paired with strong Tableau familiarity or willingness to lead in Tableau). ~ Strong data modeling instincts — facts, dimensions, semantic layers, measures. ~ Demonstrated data quality discipline — knowing how to validate that analytical output is correct, not just that it renders. ~ A track record of senior-stakeholder engagement — you've been the analytical voice in the room with VPs, Directors, or Executive Sponsors. ~ Judgment about when to push back on a customer request and when to build what they asked for. ~ Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in your daily workflow, and informed opinions about where AI adds value in analytics. ~ Bonus points if you have: Pharma or life sciences industry experience — commercial operations, HCP engagement, MSL workflows, sales rep enablement. Python for data manipulation. Familiarity with up-to-date data stack tools (dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, or similar). Prior work at the intersection of data and AI.
