Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer for our Hydropower and Water Resources team. This position emphasizes design, specification, procurement, and commissioning of hydro-mechanical systems. Candidates should have experience in hydropower, dam projects, and related mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical engineering design for water projects
• Develop layouts for powerhouse equipment and piping systems
• Support procurement of hydro-mechanical equipment




• Prepare engineering calculations and technical specifications
• Provide support during construction and commissioning phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada
• 6–10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Canadian engineering codes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
