Job Description: The Senior Social Worker is an experienced clinician who may provide supervision and coaching within acute care in the Womens and Childrens Team, reporting directly to a Womens and Childrens Team Manager. The position requires the use of high order knowledge, clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to assess and support clients and/or to coach, mentor, orientate and provide education to an assigned team in Womens and Children. Drawing on standards of practice for case management; professional codes of ethics; social work standards of practice in health care; program policy and procedures; and, relevant legislation, the senior social worker provides high quality client service and maintains professional standards of practice.

Education

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Experience

• Three years recognized clinical experience with demonstrated leadership ability.

• Valid Class 5 drivers license
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
