As a Public Health Inspector with the Environmental Health Department, you will assist in planning and executing public health inspections. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning of public health inspection services
• Supervise delivery of environmental health inspection programs




• Enforce health legislation to promote community wellness
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for northern industry
• Perform health risk assessment reviews on behalf of SHA
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada), CPHI(C)
• Membership with Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI)
• Strong communication skills for effective legislation application
