Supervisor, Line Maintenance

You will provide direct supervision to the Line Maintenance Department in the performance of their regular preventive and corrective maintenance of 735 kv, 230 kv, 138 kv, 66 kv, 46 kv and 13.8 kv lines, Churchill Falls distribution and transmission system and switchyard. You are responsible for the erection and maintenance of communication towers, antennas, and alarm cables. You are responsible for personal safety and that of coworkers by observing and promoting the company’s Safety and Health Program and responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner. What You’ll Need:

You will have graduated High School and possess an Interprovincial Journeyperson Line Worker Certificate. You will have five years experience in transmission after certification as a Journeyperson with experience in distribution. As well, you will have two years experience as a Supervisor or Working Foreperson.



Experience with bare-hand techniques and stick work is essential. EHV experience is an asset. An equivalent combination of skills and experience will be considered. Churchill Falls is a company-owned town supporting the Churchill Falls Generating Station, one of the largest underground hydroelectric plants in the world. Benefits:
